SkyEurope Airlines, founded in 2001, is the most important and largest low cost airline in Central Europe: it has five bases in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia.
SkyEurope operates flights to 42 destinations in 19 European countries.

On the 27th of September 2006, SkyEurope became the first and only airline in Central and Eastern Europe to be publicly quoted on the Stock Exchange in Vienna and Warsaw.
