30.04.08: For the first quarter of 2008, Spanair reported a net loss 40.8 million euro. The Spanish airline company has been hoping to be bought out for quite some time.  SAS plans on selling Spanair by the end of the third quarter of 2008.

07.02.2008: Spanair closes 2007 with losses totalling 31 million euro. The carrier, based out of Palma de Mallorca could be bought out by Iberia.
