The airport is 5 miles away from the downtown area, and travellers have a wide choice of options to reach the city. Taxi rides are relatively inexpensive, as they cost between $10 and $20. For $7, shuttle buses will take you to any hotel in the city. You also have a choice of regular and express buses, which depart from the ground level bus stops located outside terminal 1. The WAX bus is an express service that takes you downtown in 15 minutes, while regular buses 108 and 109 take 25 minutes. All buses cost $2 per person. If you are ready to celebrate in style your stay in Las Vegas right from the start, book a limousine into town. Prices start at $35, so this is an affordable option too.

Things to see and do in Las Vegas

It goes without saying that Las Vegas is an ideal destination to try your luck, whether you are a seasoned player or new to the casino scene. The biggest casinos in town (such as the MGM Grand, the Bellagio, the Luxor, or the Cesar's Palace) can keep you entertained for days.
